Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction with your finger off the trigger and the safety on until ready to fire. To unfold, point in a safe direction, release the barrel latch under the receiver, and rotate the barrel up until it locks. To load, insert a compatible pistol magazine and rack the charging handle to chamber a round. To unload, remove the magazine first, then lock or cycle the action and confirm the chamber is empty. Field strip per the manual to clean the bolt, barrel, and bore, then lightly lubricate and function-check. Store unloaded and folded, secured away from ammunition.
